In a relatively quiet corner of England resides the 9th largest city in England. After being heaving bombed by the Luftwaffe in the Second World War, Coventry has been a city born out of tragedy but has risen like a phoenix from the ashes and has taken its place as one of the most popular and populated cities in the country. The city was made a target due to the concentration of armaments, army vehicles and engine plants that existed in the area. Everywhere was firebombed, even St Michael’s Cathedral which managed to somehow withstand the days of bombardment, however only a shell and the spire of the building remained intact.

However, showing true grit and that famous British fighting spirit that exists in each and every one of us, Coventry has steadily rebuilt itself into the metropolis that it is today. The evidence of which can be seen in the motor industry boom in the area in the 1950s and 1960s, the general rebuilding of the city under the government’s Gibson plan and the striving to turn Coventry into a shopping and sport centre of England.

However, enough with the pitiful history of the besieged city and let us examine why Coventry should be on the list of places to visit for you, and why it should be done in either a black, white or pink stretch limousine, or if having an extended family visit, one of the prestigious H2 or H3 Hummer Limos.
